Struggling Oilers visit Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Edmonton Oilers will look to snap a five-game losing streak when they visit the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.

The Oilers have lost three of the games by one goal and two after regulation for their longest winless streak of the season.

But Edmonton has won three straight contests against Columbus, including a 3-1 victory on November 26.

The Oilers, who score a league-worst 2.33 goals per game, are led by Shawn Horcoff's 16 tallies and 34 points.

The Blue Jackets are looking to put together consecutive wins for the first time this month. Columbus, which is coming off a 4-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday, has not won two straight since November 23-24.

The Blue Jackets are led by Rick Nash, who leads the team with 18 goals. The left wing snapped a seven-game scoreless streak with one assist in the win over the Hurricanes.
