Senators faces Capitals for second time in three days

WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Ottawa Senators and Washington Capitals played a wild game three days ago. On Tuesday, the team's meet in the nation's capital.

Alex Ovechkin registered his first career four-goal game as the Capitals posted a 8-6 victory over the Senators on Saturday.

Mike Fisher had his first career hat trick and Daniel Alfredsson had two goals for the Senators, who nearly rallied from a 5-2 deficit.

"It's frustrating to lose that one when we were kind of close and it was not a great game for us," Fisher said. "That would have been sweet to be able to come back but overall we've got to be better. We can't put ourselves in that position."

The Capitals, who won both games at Ottawa this season, have recorded points in five of their last six games despite only two wins.

Olaf Kolzig (12-15-4, 3.02 goals-against average) has been in goal for all six games for the Capitals and already has beaten the Senators twice this season.
