Flyers look to bounce back against struggling Maple Leafs

TORONTO (Ticker) - After getting shutout for just the second time this season, the Philadelphia Flyers look to bounce back against the struggling Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday.

The Flyers' 3-0 loss to New Jersey on Friday snapped a three-game winning streak as Philadelphia continues its six-game road trip.

Philadelphia is led by Mike Richards, who leads the team with 18 goals and 25 assists.

Joffrey Lupul and Daniel Briere are tied for second on the team with 16 tallies apiece and the two combined for four points in the Flyers' 4-1 win over Toronto on December 27 earlier this season.

The Flyers may have an easier time scoring on Saturday as the Maple Leafs are ranked 26th in the league, giving up 3.17 goals per game.

Toronto is coming off a 6-2 defeat to Pittsburgh on Thursday and has just two wins in its last nine games.

Mats Sundin leads Toronto with 18 goals and 28 assists. Goaltender Scott Clemmensen was the third Maple Leafs netminder to give up at least five goals this season as he surrendered all six on Thursday.
