Predators look to continue dominance of Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators go for their 13th consecutive win against the Columbus Blue Jackets when the Central Division rivals meet on Saturday.

The Predators swept the eight-game season series last year and have outscored the Blue Jackets, 15-8, during the first four meetings between the clubs this season.

Nashville set a new franchise record for goals in Tuesday's 7-0 triumph over Los Angeles, giving the Predators their fourth win in their last five games.

J.P Dumont extended his goal-scoring streak to six games in Tuesday's win, breaking Nashville's franchise record previously shared by three players. The right wing has six goals and three assists over that span.

The Blue Jackets won their fourth straight home game Friday with a 6-4 victory over St. Louis.

Nikolai Zherdev scored two goals in the last six minutes in the win, which were the right wing's first tallies in his last six games.

Rick Nash leads the team with 23 goals and 38 assists but has not recorded a point in the three games he has played against the Predators this season.
