Flames look to end four-game losing streak

ST. LOUIS (Ticker) -- The Calgary Flames have lost their previous four games and past five on the road.

The Flames will look to snap their losing streak against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at Scottrade Center.

Calgary lost a hard-fought 5-4 shootout decision that lasted 13 rounds against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday. The Flames were down, 3-1, after the first period but battled back with third-period goals by Alex Tanguay and Dion Phaneuf to force the extra session.

Calgary has dropped the first two games on its three-game road trip.

St. Louis snapped a three-game losing streak on Thursday with a 4-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Doug Weight matched a career high with four assists and Bill Guerin added two goals.

Goaltender Manny Legace had 44 saves for the Blues.

St. Louis lost five of its last six meetings with Calgary.
