Panthers bring back F Pirri for tryout
Aug 30, 2017 - 3:47 AM Forward Brandon Pirri is returning to the Florida Panthers on a professional tryout, the team announced Tuesday.Pirri collected eight goals and 10 assists in 60 games with the New York Rangers last season. The 26-year-old Toronto native recorded just 24 tallies in his last two campaigns after netting a career-high 22 in 49 contests with the Panthers during the 2014-15 season.
Pirri notched 57 goals and 41 assists in 226 career contests with the Blackhawks, Panthers, Rangers and Anaheim Ducks since being selected with a second-round pick by Chicago in the 2009 draft.
