Blues send Thompson to AHL team, recall Blais
Oct 13, 2017 - 5:08 PM The St. Louis Blues assigned forward Tage Thompson to the San Antonio Rampage on Friday and recalled forward Sammy Blais from their American Hockey League affiliate.Thompson, 19, played in four games with the Blues this season, including his NHL debut on Oct. 7 in Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound Thompson was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round (26th overall) of the 2016 NHL draft.
Blais, 21, appeared in two games for the Rampage this season, posting three goals and an assist. The 5-10, 205-pound Blais was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round in 2014.
