Panthers recall F Malgin
Oct 16, 2017 - 5:50 PM The Florida Panthers recalled forward Denis Malgin from the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League on Monday.Malgin, 20, appeared in three games with Springfield this season, recording one assist. The native of Olten, Switzerland, registered three points (one goal, two assists) in three games with the Panthers during the 2017 preseason.
The 5-foot-9, 177-pound Malgin was originally selected by the Panthers in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL draft. He tallied 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 47 games with the Panthers last season.
