Price looking to continue success against Flyers

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Rookie goaltender Carey Price seems to be at his best against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The 20-year-old Price hopes to build off his first career shutout when the Montreal Canadiens visit the Flyers on Sunday night in the finale of a home-and-home series.

Price stopped all 34 shots he faced - including seven with his team at a two-man disadvantage in the third period - as the Canadiens skated past the reeling Flyers, 1-0, on Saturday.

"You'll always remember your first shutout," Price said. "I'll call home and share it with my parents. They watch every game, so I'm sure my dad is pretty pumped."

It was the second time Price has handcuffed Philadelphia, as he recorded 35 saves in a 4-1 victory on December 13. The fifth overall pick in the 2005 draft, Price is 11-8-3 this season.

Andrei Kostitsyn scored the game's only goal for Montreal, which has won two contests in a row after dropping its previous three games.

Antero Niittymaki finished with 19 saves Saturday for Philadelphia, which lost its sixth straight game. Four of the losses have been one-goal decisions.

Joffrey Lupul, who scored a goal and set up another in each of the previous two games, suffered a high ankle sprain in Saturday's setback. Lupul has been plagued by injuries all season and is not likely to play Sunday.
