Blue Jackets activate F Atkinson (lower body) from IR
Nov 7, 2017 - 4:06 PM The Columbus Blue Jackets activated right wing Cam Atkinson off injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday.Atkinson, who set career highs in goals (35), assists (27), points (62) and rating (plus-13) last season, is available to return to the lineup for Tuesday night's game against the visiting Nashville Predators.
The 28-year-old Connecticut native has been sidelined with a lower-body injury sustained in an Oct. 28 game against the St. Louis Blues.
Atkinson has collected four goals, one assist and four penalty minutes in 11 games this season. He has recorded 125 goals, 107 assists and 106 penalty minutes in 393 career contests since being selected by Columbus in the sixth round of the 2008 NHL Draft.
