Wild look to remain perfect against Blackhawks

CHICAGO (Ticker) - The Minnesota Wild look to make it four wins in four games against the Chicago Blackhawks this season when the teams meet Wednesday.

The Blackhawks had a three-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday with a 5-1 loss to St. Louis - a game that included a fight between the Blues' Dan Hinote and Chicago's Craig Adams only two seconds after the opening faceoff.

Chicago remains in last place in the Central Division, but is still hopeful to make a late push in the Western Conference playoff race. The club is 13th with 60 points, eight points back of eighth-place Calgary.

The Wild has played well in recent weeks, going 6-2-2 in its last 10 games. The club is 16-12-2 on the road.

Right wings Marian Gaborik and Pierre-Marc Bouchard each have a pair of goals against Chicago, while goaltenders Josh Harding and Niklas Backstrom each have a victory versus the Blackhawks.

Chicago, 4-4-2 in its last 10 games, is 14-13-1 at home. Nikolai Khabibulin is 0-2-0 with a 2.54 goals-against average against the Wild this season.
