Blue Jackets hope to snap home losing streak

The Blue Jackets have not won at Nationwide Arena since a 3-2victory over the Vancouver Canucks on January 15. Columbus,which is seven points back of Vancouver for the WesternConference's final playoff spot, plays eight of its final 13games at home. The Blue Jackets are just 1-2-2 over their last five games afterdropping a 2-1 overtime decision to the Edmonton Oilers onFriday.Columbus totaled just one goal in the past two contests, andranks last in the league with 165 tallies on the season. Thepower play has been a particular point of concern, with the BlueJackets converting just 15.4 percent of their opportunitieswith the man advantage.The Lightning, who own the Eastern Conference's worst record,have lost four straight games and totaled just one four goals inthat span. Top-scorer Vincent Lecavalier leads the club with 32 goals, but has not tallied in the past 12 contests.Martin St. Louis leads the club with 51 assists, but has justone in the last nine games. The club traded away two of St.Louis' best targets in scoring threats Brad Richards and VaclavProspal at the February 26 deadline.
