Predators aim for another win vs. Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) - The Nashville Predators continue their push toward a Western Conference playoff berth on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Predators trail eighth-place Vancouver (38-29-10) by two points and look to continue their recent dominance of the Blue Jackets to further close the gap.

Nashville won all eight meetings with Columbus last season, including one in a shootout, and has won six of seven games against the Blue Jackets this year.

The Predators play four of their final five games on the road, including Friday's contest that kicks off a three-game road trip.

Nashville has collected at least one point against Columbus in 15 consecutive games, including the Predators' 3-0 win Tuesday.

"Our team will find itself and we just all need to be responsible for our own jobs," Nashville rookie goaltender Dan Ellis said. "That's all I worry about is giving our team a chance to win right now."
