Predators try to draw even with Red Wings

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Nashville Predators try to even their Western Conference quarterfinal series with the Detroit Red Wings at two games apiece when the clubs clash Wednesday in Game Four.

Captain Jason Arnott and defenseman Ryan Suter scored nine seconds apart with under four minutes remaining in the third period as the eighth-seeded Predators rallied past the top-seeded Red Wings, 5-3, in Game Three on Monday.

"This team finds a way to get it done," Nashville coach Barry Trotz said. "No matter how many times our guys get kicked, they always get up off of the floor because they believe."

Alexander Radulov, David Legwand and Martin Erat also tallied Monday for Nashville, which still trails two-games-to-one in the best-of-seven series.

Legwand, a Detroit native, was playing in his first game since sustaining a deep bone bruise on his left foot while blocking a shot against Calgary on March 7.

With Detroit clinging to a 3-2 lead with 3:57 remaining in the third period, Suter scored his second goal of the game after blasting a slap shot from the top of the left faceoff circle to tie the game.

Arnott followed nine seconds later with a slap shot from the right circle over the glove of Detroit goaltender Dominik Hasek to give Nashville its first lead of the series.

Pavel Datsyuk, Kris Draper and Jiri Hudler scored and Daniel Cleary had two assists Monday for the Red Wings, who finished the regular season with an NHL-best 115 points.
