ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) - The San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks play on Tuesday in a battle of the two two clubs in the Western Conference.

The Ducks lead the conference with 33 points while the Sharks, who have won six of their last seven, have 30 points.

Anaheim has slowed down, going 2-2-1 in its last five games after starting the season 12-0-4. However, the Ducks did defeat the Phoenix Coyotes, 6-4, in their last outing Saturday.

Chris Kunitz led the Ducks with three goals while Teemu Selanne had a career-high five assists.

San Jose is coming off an easy 6-1 thumping of the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday. Patrick Rissmiller, Curtis Brown and defenseman Kyle McLaren led the Sharks with a goal and an assist each.

Sharks goaltender Vesa Toskala was not very busy, recording only 17 saves.
