Disappointing Blues, Blue Jackets meet
Nov 22, 2006 - 2:29 PM St Louis (5-11-3) at Columbus (5-13-1) 7:00 pm ESTCOLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) - The St. Louis Blues and Columbus Blue Jackets, who meet on Wednesday, certainly don't have much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
Columbus' 11 points are the fewest in the league while only three clubs have fewer than St. Louis' 13.
The Blues slipped to 0-3-0 on a five-game road trip with a 4-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.
The underachieving Doug Weight and Keith Tkachuk scored for St. Louis. Weight's tally was his first of the season while Tkachuk's was only his sixth.
Columbus has dropped six straight, including a 3-1 loss to the Nashville Predators on Monday. Jason Chimera scored the only goal for Columbus, which actually outshot Nashville, 24-23.
No one has shouted yet.
