Mike Fisher had two assists for Ottawa, which went 2-for-3 on the power play.

The Flyers try to rebound from a 5-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday. Freddy Meyer, Simon Gagne and Geoff Sanderson had the goals for Philadelphia while Gagne added an assist and Joni Pitkanen had three.

Antero Niittymaki had an off night for the Flyers, allowing five goals on 34 shots. Philadelphia plays two of its next three games at home.

Philadelphia signed coach Gary Stevens to a two-year contract on Monday. Stevens replaced Ken Hitchcock on October 22 and has a 4-7-1 record since he took over.
