Predators look for third straight win
Nov 22, 2006 - 2:52 PM Nashville (13-4-2) at Dallas (14-6-0) 8:30 pm ESTDALLAS (Ticker) - The Nashville Predators aim for a 10th win in 12 games when they take on the Dallas Stars on Wednesday.
The Predators posted a 3-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Monday.
Paul Kariya and Martin Erat each had a goal and an assist while Tomas Vokoun was sharp in making 28 saves.
The Stars have won two of their last three and are coming off a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche in Monday.
Brenden Morrow scored two goals 2:46 apart in the first period. Antti Miettinen and Sergei Zubov each had a goal and an assist for the Stars, who pulled Marty Turco after he gave up two goals on only five shots.
Mike Smith came in stopped 16 shots for Dallas, which outshot Calgary, 31-23.
