Senators look to reach .500 mark against Panthers

The Senators aim for their season-high fourth straight win and the .500 mark on Friday when they visit the Florida Panthers.
The reigning Northeast Division champs, Ottawa opened the campaign with 12 losses in its first 19 games. But the Senators have looked impressive during their three-game winning streak, scoring a total of 12 goals over that stretch.
Defenseman Wade Redden scored the game-winning goal in overtime Wednesday to lift Ottawa to a 3-2 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
Goaltender Ray Emery made his fifth straight start and turned aside 24 shots while Peter Schaefer recorded three assists for the Senators, who improved to 6-5-1 on the road this season.
Florida hopes to bounce back from Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Captain Olli Jokinen scored his team-leading 10th goal for the Panthers, who have lost six of their last eight games.
