Predators host Red Wings in Central Divison battle
Nov 25, 2006 - 3:37 PM Detroit (12-6-3) at Nashville (14-5-2) 8:00 pm ESTNASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators look for their fourth victory in the last five games when they host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday.
Nashville has outscored its opponents, 13-4, in the last four games. The Predators pounded the Vancouver Canucks, 6-0, on Thursday.
Scott Hartnell led the Predators with two goals and an assist while Alexander Radulov and Shea Weber each had a goal and an assist. Tomas Vokoun made 21 saves and Chris Mason recorded 13 saves to combine on the shutout.
The Red Wings hope to rebound from a 3-2 shootout loss to the St. Louis Blues on Friday.
Detroit outshot the Blues, 43-19, but could only beat former Red Wing Manny Legace twice. Henrik Zetterberg led Detroit with a goal and an assist while Nicklas Lidstrom also scored.
The Red Wings have lost four straight, including three in overtime.
