Nov 28, 2006 - 3:03 PM Washington (8-9-6) at Tampa Bay (13-10-1) 7:30 pm EST

TAMPA, Florida (Ticker) -- The Tampa Bay Lightning go for their fourth straight win when they host the Washington Capitals on Tuesday.

After getting shellacked in a 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers and a 7-2 blowout defeat in Buffalo last week, Tampa Bay has responded with three straight victories.

The latest triumph was a 3-1 win over the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. Filip Kuba, Brad Richards and Martin St. Louis scored for the Lightning while Johan Holmqvist made 22 saves. St. Louis has four goals and five assists during his current four-game points streak. Holmqvist, who has never faced Washington, is 8-1-0 with a 2.40 goals-against average in November.

The Capitals have lost six straight, two of which were in overtime. Washington suffered its latest loss on Saturday when it was defeated by the New York Islanders, 4-1.

Alexander Ovechkin scored the lone goal for the Capitals, who only converted on 1-of-8 power-play opportunities. Ovechkin has three goals and an assist in his four-game points streak.
