Ducks go for third straight win

EDMONTON, Alberta (Ticker) -- Chris Pronger and the Anaheim Ducks go for their third straight victory when they tangle with the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday.

Pronger will be making his first trip back to Edmonton since he demanded a trade from the Oilers just a few days after the Stanley Cup finals ended in June. He leads all NHl defenseman in scoring with 25 points.

The Ducks come off a 5-3 victory over the Calgary Flames on Sunday. Teemu Selanne led the Ducks with two goals while Samuel Pahlsson, Todd Marchant and Ryan Getzlaf scored the other goals.

Goaltender Michael Wall made his NHL debut for Anaheim and allowed three goals on 22 shots.

The Oilers have won five straight and six of their last seven games. Their latest victory was 5-1 triumph over the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

Petr Sykora led Edmonton with a goal and an assist while Jarret Stoll, Marty Reasoner, Raffi Torres and Marc-Andre Bergeron scored the other goals for the Oilers. Sykora leads Edmonton with 24 points.
