CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) -- The Colorado Avalanche go for their fifth victory in their last six games when they take on the Calgary Flames in the opening game of a three-game road trip on Tuesday.

The Avalanche, who have won two straight, come off a 4-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday. But they have had trouble with Calgary lately, dropping the last three meetings by a combined score of 12-6.

Paul Stastny led the Avalanche with a goal and two assists while Mark Rycroft, Wojtek Wolski and Brett Clark had the other goals for Colorado. Jose Theodore made 28 saves for the Avalanche, who went 2-for-7 on the power play.

Theodore has a 1.68 goals-against average in seven career starts against Calgary. The Flames, who have lost three of their last four, try to rebound from a 5-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

Kristian Huselius led Calgary with two goals while Daymond Langkow added the other goal for the Flames.

Calgary is 3-7-2 on the road, but has been much better at home. The Flames have won six straight at home, outscoring opponents, 17-3.
