Nov 29, 2006 - 3:03 PM Dallas (16-7-0) at Chicago (7-12-2) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Dallas Stars look to rebound from a tough loss when they take on the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday.

The Stars have won three of their last four, but come off a 2-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Monday. Dallas took a 1-0 lead early in the second period on Antti Miettinen's goal, but surrendered two Detroit goals in the third period.

The Stars went 0-for-5 on the power play and killed off both of Detroit's opportunities with the extra skater while goaltender Marty Turco finished with 27 saves.

The Blackhawks, who fired coach Trent Yawney and replaced him with assistant Denis Savard on Monday, have lost three straight and have been outscored, 11-3.

Chicago's latest defeat was a 5-1 thrashing by the Edmonton Oilers on Friday. The Blackhawks trailed, 3-0, before Mikael Holmqvist scored their only goal midway through the second period.

The Blackhawks actually outshot the Oilers, 28-24, but were 0-for-2 on the power play and allowed two power-play goals.
