Frolov concludes dominant month as Kings face Coyotes

Nov 30, 2006 - 1:41 PM Los Angeles (9-13-4) at Phoenix (8-15-0) 9:00 pm EST

GLENDALE, Arizona (Ticker) - Alexander Frolov can wrap up the most productive month of his career in a blaze of glory.

Frolov looks to lead the Los Angeles Kings to their first three-game winning streak of the season Thursday, when they close out November against the Phoenix Coyotes.

The team leader in goals with 14, the 24-year-old Frolov has a career-best 10 tallies this month, including three consecutive multi-goal games from November 13-18.

After netting the winning goal for the Kings in Saturday's victory over the Calgary Flames, Frolov scored in Monday's shootout to help Los Angeles post a 3-2 triumph over the New Jersey Devils.

Despite being ranked 28th in goals (56) and 29th in points (16), the Coyotes have won two of their last three games and four of seven.

Former King Yanic Perreault scored his seventh goal of the season, Owen Nolan added his fifth and Curtis Joseph made 25 saves to lead Phoenix in Saturday's 2-1 victory over the St. Louis Blues.

The Kings have won two of the first three encounters with the Coyotes this season, including a 5-3 victory on November 18. Frolov had two goals and assist in that contest.
