The Matchup: The New Jersey Devils vs. the Vancouver Canucks

The Song of the Night: SNFU hails from Edmonton but moved their operations to Vancouver in the late 1980s and early 1990s. When they re-united in 1991, they were excited enough from the reaction to make a new album. In 1993, Something Green and Leafy This Way Comes came out. Many expected the skate-punkers to return to form. The album, well, was a lot slower than most were expecting. That said, the song “Reality is a Ride on the Bus” was as fast as it should have been, a sign the band still had it, and is arguably one of the best songs they ever made. It also made the original Punk O Rama compilation from Epitaph.
