Brodeur looks for second straight shutout vs. Bruins

BOSTON (Ticker) -- Veteran goaltender Martin Brodeur has struggled on the road this season. He'll look to turn that around after a shutout on home ice in his last contest.

With Brodeur in net, the New Jersey Devils will take on the Boston Bruins on the road.

Surprisingly, the two-time Vezina Trophy winner and three-time Stanley Cup champion is 5-8-1 away from home this season.

Brodeur posted his 84th career shutout en route to his 462nd victory as the New Jersey Devils recorded a 2-0 triumph over Philadelphia on Friday.

With the blanking, Brodeur pulled even with Hall of Famer Glenn Hall for third place on the all-time list - 10 behind George Hainsworth - by making eight saves in both the first and third periods and another nine in the middle session. Terry Sawchuk holds the record with 103 shutouts.

Wayne Primeau scored the winning goal and added an assist and Shean Donovan set up a pair of tallies as the Bruins used a third-period rally to record their fifth win in six games, a 3-1 triumph over Toronto on Friday.

The Devils won all four games between the teams last season.
