Predators eye third consecutive home win over Senators

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Nashville Predators go for their third straight home victory on Thursday when they face the Ottawa Senators.

The Predators started their homestand with a 3-2 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday. David Legwand scored the go-ahead goal with 2:45 left in the third period.

J.P. Dumont had two assists while Chris Mason made 38 saves for Nashville, which killed all three of Edmonton's power-play opportunities.

Currently on a four-game road trip, the Senators snapped a three-game losing streak with a 3-2 triumph over Detroit on Tuesday.

Jason Spezza tallied twice and Ray Emery made 43 saves for Ottawa, which was outshot, 18-3, in the first period.
