Hasek, Red Wings look to keep rolling

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) - Dominik Hasek and the Detroit Red Wings look for their fifth win in their last six games when they tangle with the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

The 41-year old Hasek is still not showing his age this season, as he leads in the league in goal-against average with a mark of 1.90. The Dominator made 29 saves in Detroit's latest win, a 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.

Mikael Samuelsson, Henrik Zetterberg and Daniel Cleary scored the goals for the Red Wings, who were outshot, 31-26.

Detroit rookie forward Tomas Kopecky broke his collarbone a minute into the third period of game and is expected to miss up to three months following surgery.

The Devils try to break a two-game losing streak after suffering a rare loss to the Boston Bruins, 5-3, on Thursday. Patrik Elias, Jamie Langenbrunner and Michael Rupp scored for the Devils, who had beaten the Bruins five straight times before Thursday's loss.

Backup goaltender Scott Clemmensen made 40 saves while Martin Brodeur had a rare night off. Elias has an eight-game point streak going in which he has five goals and eight assists.
