Cullen, Rangers shoot for sixth straight win

TORONTO (Ticker) -- No question Brendan Shanahan and Jaromir Jagr are the highest profile players on the New York Rangers, but its been John Cullen who has the hot hand.

Cullen, who has three goals in his last two games, leads the Rangers against the Maple Leafs in Toronto on Saturday.

The center scored twice in New York's fifth straight victory, a 5-2 triumph over the Dallas Stars on Thursday. Karel Rachunek scored twice while Fedor Tyutin scored the other New York goal.

Toronto goes for its third straight win after going winless in its last seven. Mats Sundin scored twice and Alexander Steen netted the game-winner as the Leafs won their second straight, 4-3, over the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday.

Defenseman Bryan McCabe scored the other goal for Toronto, which received 29 saves from Andrew Raycroft. McCabe also had two assists for the Maple Leafs, who went 2-for-7 on the power play.
