Manly signs Dogs prop Perrett
Dec 9, 2016 - 5:55 AM Manly have signed Emerging Maroons prop Lloyd Perrett on a three-year NRL deal. The younger brother of Kiwi international Sam Perrett linked with the Eagles after three seasons and 25 games at the Bulldogs.
Junior Kangaroo Perrett earned a four-year deal reportedly worth $400,000 a season after making his NRL debut in 2014.
However, Perrett battled for game time at Canterbury, playing only two NRL matches this season.
Manly confirmed the 21-year-old's departure the same day he was named in a 20-strong Emerging Maroons squad by Queensland coach Kevin Walters.
Perrett will add much-needed punch to a Manly pack that has lost Jamie Buhrer, Siosaia Vave, Liam Knight and Josh Starling in the off-season.
Perrett has become the latest Manly signing, joining the likes of Akuila Uate, Curtis Sironen and Blake Green.
