Wright breaks hand in Manly training

Jan 24, 2017 - 4:24 AM Manly centre Matthew Wright will miss the NRL Auckland Nines after breaking his hand during training.

Wright will be out of action for a month after breaking his left hand on Tuesday ahead of the pre-season tournament on February 4 and 5.

But the 25-year-old is expected to be fit for the Sea Eagles' season-opening clash against Parramatta on March 5.

"Unfortunately there are plenty of collisions in training these days and Matthew was a victim of this,'' coach Trent Barrett said.
