Brumbies re-sign winger Taliauli
Sep 29, 2016 - 3:15 AM Former Australian Sevens speedster Lausii Taliauli has re-signed with the Brumbies for the 2017 Super Rugby season.Taliauli has played only 15 games for the ACT franchise over the past two years, but the winger could be in line for more minutes with the departure of France-bound Wallabies flyer Joe Tomane.
Coach Stephen Larkham said there was a huge opportunity for the 23-year-old to push his case for a starting spot next season.
"We are definitely impressed with what we've seen from Lausii over his first two seasons of Super Rugby," Larkham said on Thursday.
"We've seen that he is a player who can make a real impact either as a reserve or in our starting side.
"We have some great competition for our wing spots in 2017 and having Lausii recommit to the squad adds great depth out wide for the squad."
