Real Salt Lake manages disappointing tie against Dynamo
Oct 8, 2006 - 4:44 AM SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- With a chance to clinch a playoff berth with a victory, Real Salt Lake managed only a 1-1 tie with the Houston Dynamo.Salt Lake (10-13-8) now must beat Chivas next week and hope Colorado loses to Houston to secure a postseason spot.
Paul Dalglish opened the scoring the Dynamo (11-8-12) in the 20th minute, but Mehdi Ballouchy evened things 40 minutes later.
Scott Garlick made six saves for Real, while Pat Onstad turned aside three shots for Houston.
