Nigerian out of Cup with broken arm
Jun 26, 2014 - 12:17 AM Nigeria striker Michael Babatunde is expected to be out for the rest of the World Cup after suffering a broken arm in his team's 3-2 loss to Argentina, coach Stephen Keshi says.The incident occurred when 21-year-old Babatunde was struck by a powerful shot from team-mate Ogenyi Onazi in the second half of the World Cup match.
"It does not look good," Keshi said of Babatunde's injury.
He is expected to need surgery on the injury, meaning he won't play in Nigeria's knockout match against France in Brasilia on Monday.
