Fernando leaves Man City for Galatasaray
Aug 4, 2017 - 10:13 PM Manchester City have sold Brazilian midfielder Fernando to Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.The Brazil midfielder joined Premier League outfit City from Porto in 2014 and made 101 appearances across three seasons.
However, his playing time was limited last season with countryman Fernandinho often preferred by Pep Guardiola.
"It's been a pleasure to play for Manchester City," Fernando told the club's official website.
"The club has looked after me incredibly well throughout my time here and I have enjoyed the challenge of playing for a top team in probably the world's toughest league.
"The League Cup success of 2016 was a highlight for me and something I will never forget."
