Toronto FC 2023 Preseason Tracker
Feb 8, 2023 - 8:52 PMToronto FC is set to play in four preseason friendlies before the squad kicks off the 2023 Major League Soccer campaign away to D.C. United on February 25.
The team will take part in three matches as part of the 2023 Coachella Valley Invitational held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. No, Frank Ocean is not expected to perform during halftime at any point.
TFC will then wrap up its preseason in Carson where they will visit LA Galaxy at Dignity Health Sports Park.
MLS preseason fixtures are protected like nuclear codes for some reason. There are no streams, just the occasional match highlight and Twitter update.

2023 Preseason Schedule
Wednesday, February 8 - Toronto FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps (4:00 pm ET)
Saturday, February 11 - Toronto FC vs. Los Angeles FC (2:00 pm ET)
Wednesday, February 15 - Toronto FC vs. Portland Timbers (5:00 pm ET)
Saturday, February 18 - Toronto FC vs. LA Galaxy (10:30 pm ET)
2023 Preseason Roster
TFC dropped the preseason roster just prior to the opening match against the ‘Caps. The list included 23 first-team regulars, five TFCII players, one un-signed draft pick, and two trialists.
Sigurd Rosted, the club’s newest signing, is available for action. Deandre Kerr is a surprise omission. There has been no word on the status of the winger, but more details should come out soon.
TFCII players Adisa De Rosario, Kobe Franklin, Adam Pearlman, Markus Cimermancic and Alonso Coello Camarero are taking part in preseason activities in California.
2023 SuperDraft pick Jalen Ellis-Watson, as well as two trialists in Hafiz Ibrahim and Alhassan Benny also makeup the 31-man roster. Ibrahim and Benny both come from the Attram De Visser Soccer Academy in Ghana. Bob Bradley’s former club, Los Angeles FC, set up a formal partnership with the Accra-based academy.
