Lynx win 6th straight, top Dream
Aug 26, 2012 - 1:27 AM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Seimone Augustus scored 23 points, and Rebekkah Brunson registered 21 points and 13 rebounds, as the Minnesota Lynx downed the Atlanta Dream, 84-74, Saturday night.Maya Moore totaled 14 points and 10 boards for Minnesota, which won its sixth straight contest and moved to a WNBA-best 19-4 this season. Lindsay Whalen had 13 points and eight assists.
Sancho Lyttle and Angel McCoughtry each scored 14 for Atlanta, which won its previous two contests. Tiffany Hayes and Cathrine Kraayeveld both had 12 points in the Dream's seventh straight loss to the Lynx.
Lyttle's jumper in the closing minute of the third quarter had the hosts within 63-60, but the Lynx scored the next 10 points and weren't threatened in the last quarter.
