Ogwumike leads Sparks in rout of Silver Stars
Jul 7, 2013 - 12:11 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Nneka Ogwumike scored 24 points and pulled down 16 rebounds as the Los Angeles Sparks took a 93-66 win over the San Antonio Silver Stars.Candace Parker had 18 points and nine boards while Lindsey Harding gave 14 points for the Sparks, who have won three straight games.
DeLisha Milton-Jones gave 20 points with seven boards and Shenise Johnson had 12 points for the Silver Stars, who have lost their past three games.
Holding a 10-point edge to start the third quarter, the Sparks scored the first eight points of the third stanza to take over the contest.
