Shock snap record WNBA losing streak at 20

The Tulsa Shock have found the win column.Sheryl Swoopes hit a jumper with 2.9 seconds left, lifting the Shock to a 77-75 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks at Staples Center and ending the team's WNBA-record losing streak at 20 games.
Tiffany Jackson recorded a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds for Tulsa (2-25), whose only other win this season came at home against Washington on June 18.
It was also the first triumph for head coach Teresa Edwards.
Ivory Latta scored 18 points in Friday's win, while Swoopes finished with 17 and nine boards.
DeLisha Milton-Jones had 24 points and eight rebounds to pace the Sparks, who were seeking their third straight win.
During halftime, Los Angeles announced that Lisa Leslie, a long-time star for the Sparks, has joined the team's ownership group.
