May 30, 2007 - 1:22 AM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Tamika Catchings had a much better performance this time against the Minnesota Lynx.

Catchings collected 21 points, six rebounds and six assists and Tamika Whitmore added 17 points as the Indiana Fever controlled the game throughout, posting an 89-75 victory over the Lynx on Tuesday night.

Ebony Hoffman had 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench for Indiana, which outscored Minnesota, 49-38, in the second half to secure the victory.

On Thursday, Catchings scored 24 points to lead a balanced attack for the Fever, who had a stellar second quarter en route to an 83-70 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks. The performance came on the heels off a poor opening effort against the Lynx.
