Kraayeveld allows Liberty to level Lynx
Jun 2, 2007 - 3:11 AM MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Cathrine Kraayeveld scored a game-high 21 points as the New York Liberty remained unbeaten by downing the winless Minnesota Lynx, 70-60, on Friday.The Liberty forward was 8-for-14 from the field, including a 3-for-5 effort on 3-pointers. Shameka Christon added 11 points and reigning WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week Erin Thorn had eight points for New York (3-0).
Guards Seimone Augustus scored a team-high 18 points and Lindsey Harding added 14 for the Lynx (0-6). Center Nicole Ohlde and Eshaya Murphy added 11 points apiece for Minnesota.
New York, which scored 14 of the game's first 15 points, led, 31-26, at the half.
