Ogwumike lifts Sparks over Storm
Jun 4, 2012 - 3:58 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Nneka Ogwumike made the game-winning bucket Sunday with 2.1 seconds left and the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Seattle Storm for the third time this season, 67-65.Kristi Toliver had 23 points and Candace Parker scored 16 with 13 rebounds to lead the Sparks, who have won three in a row.
Katie Smith netted 19 points to lead Seattle and Sue Bird added 12, but Bird missed a desperation three at the buzzer.
The Storm had beaten Tulsa on Friday to snap a three-game losing streak, which included back-to-back losses to Los Angeles to open the season.
