Lynx keep rolling, streak past Sky
Jun 23, 2012 - 7:20 PM Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Lindsay Whalen led all players with 25 points and eight assists as Minnesota downed Chicago, 79-67, on Saturday afternoon.Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus totaled 10 points apiece for the Lynx, who have opened the year at 12-1.
Sylvia Fowles totaled 22 points and a game-high 13 rebounds for the Sky, who fell despite 13 points from Sonja Petrovic and 11 by Swin Cash.
Minnesota led by nine after one quarter, extended that edge to 51-34 at the half and never looked back.
