Toliver guides Sparks over Silver Stars
Aug 24, 2012 - 5:20 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Kristi Toliver poured in 29 points and Alana Beard added 21, as the Los Angeles Sparks cruised to a 101-77 triumph over the San Antonio Silver Stars.The Sparks, winners of eight straight games, also received 14 points from DeLisha Milton-Jones and 10 rebounds from Candace Parker.
Toliver made 6-of-7 3-point shots and also had six assists.
Danielle Robinson had 22 points for the Silver Stars, who had their franchise- record 12-game winning streak broken.
The Sparks held a 59-35 halftime lead and were ahead by as many as 34 points.
