Sparks outshine Sun
Sep 15, 2012 - 6:04 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Candace Parker had 23 points, 10 rebounds and five assists on Friday as the Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Connecticut Sun, 93-82.Kristi Toliver had 18 points and Nneka Ogwumike chipped in 17, as all five Los Angeles starters scored in double figures.
The Sparks have now won eight straight home games.
Tina Charles scored 21 points to pace the Sun, who remained 1 1/2 games ahead of Indiana for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
