Parker, Ogwumike lead Sparks past Lynx
Sep 21, 2012 - 5:19 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Candace Parker and Nneka Ogwumike both tallied 22 points and 11 rebounds in the Los Angeles Sparks' 92-76 win over the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday.Alana Beard added 13 points and five steals for the Sparks, who ended their regular season with four straight victories.
Monica Wright netted 19 points, and Devereaux Peters added 17 points and 13 rebounds for Minnesota, which had won 13 of its last 14 contests coming in.
Los Angeles led by as many as 21 and shot a blistering 53.6 percent (37-of-69) from the floor.
The Lynx, who already clinched the top seed in the Western Conference, were 34.8 percent (23-of-66) from the field.
