Moore helps Liberty to second straight win
Jun 30, 2007 - 4:58 AM LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Loree Moore tallied 20 points to go with six steals as the New York Liberty posted an 80-68 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday.Moore made 5-of-6 3-pointers and Shameka Criston added 13 points as the Liberty shot 47 percent (10-of-21) from the arc en route their second straight win.
Meanwhile, Marta Fernandez had 17 points for Los Angeles (7-8), which never lead and shot a paltry 32 percent ( 23-for-70).
New York (8-7), which had five players in double figures, led 36-30, at the half and by as much as 18 at 70-52 with six minutes left in the fourth quarter.
