Dream spoil Fever's ring night
Jun 1, 2013 - 2:05 AM Indianapolis, IN (Sports Network) - Angel McCoughtry tallied 29 points and nine rebounds in the Atlanta Dream's 86-77 win over the Indiana Fever.Jasmine Thomas had 15 points and Sancho Lyttle added 11 points and 11 boards for the 2-0 Dream.
Tamika Catchings registered 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Katie Douglas netted 17 points for the defending-champion Fever, who received their championship rings prior to the contest.
Atlanta went on a 10-0 run to close the third quarter to take a 71-61 advantage into the final frame, where the Dream never trailed.
Indiana had a slim 47-46 edge at the break.
