Ogwumike leads Sparks in rout of Silver Stars
Jun 16, 2013 - 5:09 AM Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Nneka Ogwumike had 16 points and seven rebounds as the Los Angeles Sparks took an 84-48 win over the San Antonio Silver Stars.Jantel Lavender gave 14 points while Candace Parker and Kristi Toliver each had 13 points and six assists for the Sparks, who bounced back from Friday's loss to Phoenix.
Danielle Adams had 12 points and Shenise Johnson gave 11 for the Silver Stars, who have lost three in a row.
Los Angeles held a 35-28 lead entering the third quarter, then outscored San Antonio by 18 points in the third to take control of the game.
